Settings
The Settings dialog (gear icon in the toolbar) has four sections.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”- The colour theme: light, dark, or following the system.
- The editor’s font size.
The light theme is caramellatte and the dark theme is coffee, the same DaisyUI themes used by the rest of the interface.
Editor
Section titled “Editor”- Whether the preview is updated automatically.
- How long it waits after typing stops before updating.
Turning automatic updating off is useful for a very large manuscript on a slow machine, or when you want to type a long passage without redrawing the previews. The preview can then be refreshed when you are ready.
Stylesheets
Section titled “Stylesheets”The XSLT stylesheet used for the XSLT preview and for HTML and PDF export.
- Import Stylesheet adds your own
.xslfile. - Remove Selected removes it again. The built-in stylesheet cannot be removed.
A stylesheet is XSLT 1.0. The same stylesheet is used for every export, so changing it changes both the preview and the exported HTML and PDF.
See Preview for the page-by-page rendering declaration that makes large manuscripts fast.
Default Template
Section titled “Default Template”The template used for new projects.
Changing this setting does not affect the current document. To change the template of the document you are working on, use the template menu in the toolbar. See Templates.
